'Preach'

NJ Buffalo Soldier Wendall W. Johnson

My name is Wendell W. Johnson aka Preach.  I am married to my High School Sweetheart, Rachel Johnson, aka "Too Sweet".  We have two daughters, Sharisse E. Williams and Chanell M. Johnson, who both graduated from Historically Black Colleges, (Hampton U and Lincoln U).  We also have a son-in-law named Quenten L. Williams and we are expecting our first grandchild in the Fall of 2008.

I was born and raised in North Philadelphia and Graduated from Simon Gratz High School. I was on the wrestling team, which was #1 All City Champions and "Too Sweet" was a cheerleader/ wrestlerette.

I was employed by the City of Philadelphia Water Department for 10 years, then started my own business, rehabbing houses/ landlord.  I also drive for a Bus Transportation Company.

I've been riding motorcycles for about 33 years and from a young boy I posted pictures of all types of bikes on my bedroom wall.  My Iron Horse is a Pearl Orange 1800 Honda Goldwing.  We love riding long and short distances on "Babygirl" which lead us to the New Jersey Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers. We heard that this chapter 'loves to ride' and soon after we contacted and met "Thor" -- and here we are.

I am proud to be a part of such a positive Motorcycle Club that serves the community, churches, and other organizations.  I was especially proud when I received my center patch and became a full fledged BUFFALO SOLDIER...and it's all good!!!!!!

Ride easy...ride safe.
